Disney’s Paradise Pier Hotel – runDisney Race Weekend

05/22/2017

Experience a Californian beachfront boardwalk during your stay at Disney’s Paradise Pier Hotel! With views of Disney California Adventure, this is another great option during a runDisney race weekend.

One of three Disney hotels in the Disneyland area, this hotel is full of seaside themes. Both theme parks and Downtown Disney are within walking distance. As a Disney hotel guest, you will be able to go to one of the parks an hour before the park opens, experiencing select attractions.

A few room types are available. Choose a room with 2 queen beds and a day bed, or 1 king bed and a queen-size sleeper sofa. If you choose a premium view, it will include a view of the theme park from your window! Club Level rooms are also available, which include access to the Beachcomber Club. There are also 1- and 2-bedroom suites, as well as signature suites (sleeping up to 13 adults), which include vibrant beach colors alongside dark wood furnishings.

Looking for a little recreation? The pool is located on the rooftop of the third floor. Also included is a water slide, whirlpool, and Children’s pool. Be sure to check out the movies under the stars (on the pool deck), power walks through Disney California Adventure, a fitness center, drawing classes, trivia challenges, and more. You can even watch the fireworks from the pool deck!

Disney’s PCH Grill is a great dining option, including a breakfast buffet with Mickey and his friends. A dinner buffet (without characters) is also available. The Surfside Lounge includes cocktails and light meals, as well as The Sand Bar on the pool deck.

During a runDisney race weekend, the location of Paradise Pier Hotel is great. The expo, start, and finish lines are less than a 5 minute walk. Spectators will be able to watch their runners along the finish area with ease.
