With a wide array of elegance and craftsmanship, Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel & Spa offers a sense of class throughout! Located next to Disney California Adventure (and “inside” the Downtown Disney district), the location can’t be beat.
*Note: This hotel is undergoing refurbishments through fall 2017.
One of three Disney hotels, this resort has its own entrance into Disney California Adventure and is a short walk to Disneyland Park. As a Disney hotel guest, you will be able to go to one of the parks an hour before the park opens, experiencing select attractions.
Various room types are available, including rooms with a view over Downtown Disney or even California Adventure Park. Rooms include 2 queen beds or 1 king bed, with many rooms including a sleeper chair, trundle bed, or bunk beds. Club Level rooms are also available, which includes access to the Craftsman’s Club. Various 1- and 2-bedroom suites are located in this hotel, as well as (limited) Disney Vacation Club options.
There are three pools at this hotel, including a Mickey-shaped children’s pool, water slide, and hot tub. Poolside cabanas are available for rental. Additional amenities include movies under the stars, tours around the hotel (including a scavenger hunt), morning power walks, and more. Don’t forget about the Mandara Spa for those looking for some relaxation!
As for dining options, Napa Rose is among the best restaurants in Disneyland! The menu rotates seasonally. The Storytellers Cafe is a character meal for breakfast, but is also open for a la carte lunch and dinner. A quick service location, White Water Snacks, is great for those on-the-go.
During a runDisney race weekend, the location of the Grand Californian is fantastic! The expo, start, and finish lines are less than a 5 minute walk. Spectators will be able to watch their runners along the finish area with ease.
