Since we were children, we have enjoyed going to Disney destinations with our families for vacations. As we became runners, we started to add runDisney races to our plans. Although we are strong proponents for runDisney races, we will always be honest in our reviews – whether positive or negative. All opinions are our own.
We do not accept paid trips from Disney in order to remain unbiased in our reviews but we do accept other form of sponsorships from products we love. We only do so for brands and companies that we fully believe in. These companies are ones we have personally done business with in the past and know would be beneficial to our readers – the runDisney enthusiasts.
If we review a product that is from a sponsor, we will always disclose it as such. If we are given media access for an event, we will disclose it as such. If any travel expense such as meals, flights, hotel, etc. is provided for us, we will disclose it as such. As always, our opinions will be honest.
Some of the links to products are affiliate links, meaning The Runner’s Guide to Walt Disney World receives a small commission for sales that are made. This allows us to continue to provide great content to you! These affiliate links are to products that we have been using for years and stand behind, however we understand that purchasing any product is a personal decision.
We are not medical doctors, registered dietitians, personal trainers, certified running coaches or qualified to give individualized recommendations regarding health, nutrition or fitness, therefore we leave that to the experts. It is also highly encouraged that you consult your doctor or other medical professional before starting any type of exercise regimen. All views on this blog are from our own personal experience.
These disclosures are required as part of FTC Guidelines, but more importantly, we want to be upfront, honest and transparent.
